How do you recognize a basket strainer plug?
First ask/check what brand it is.
- Brand can be on the plug
- On the top of the sink at the overflow
- On a sticker on the bottom of the sink
Can't find a brand? No problem, then check the characteristics of the basket strainer plug:
- Round, filter the round
- pin with flat sides or no pin.
- grooves straight or tapered or with a wave
- ring at the bottom of plastic or steel and what color ring.
- is there a recess in the ring or is it flat
- diameter of the plug approx. 80mm or larger.
