Does your faucet leak from the spout (at the aerator)? Then replace the internal mechanism. Does your faucet leak at the neck between the slots where the neck rotates? Then replace the rings.

Always start by turning off the main water valve. This is located at the water meter. You can also turn off the angle stop valves in the cabinet if you have access to them.
- 1. Using a knife, pry off the cover cap on the back of the faucet where the hex key is located.
- Using a hex key (2.5mm hex key), loosen the hex screw in the handle. Then pull the handle upward.
- Using a needle-nose pliers or a Newform wrench CH2300.0000, loosen the lock nut. Make sure the faucet is firmly secured to the countertop
(tighten well at the bottom) otherwise the faucet will turn with it.
Turn left to loosen (counterclockwise)
If the nut is very tight, you can give it a few gentle taps with a steel hammer. (this will loosen the nut)
- You can now remove the internal mechanism from the faucet. When installing, make sure the feet of the internal mechanism fall into the holes.
When you install the new internal mechanism Newform 14720, always apply some faucet grease or vaseline to the rubber seals.
- Now you can pull the spout (faucet neck) upward
- If the faucet leaks between the slots, you can replace the rubber rings. Newform 15608
- First, pry the old rings off the interior housing with a screwdriver.
When installing, make sure the lower ring has the slot facing upward and the upper ring has the slot facing downward. Always apply faucet grease or vaseline to the rubber seals for a good seal.
We recommend that you also always replace the sliding rings. Newform 16128
After that, you can reassemble the faucet in reverse order.
Turn the angle stop valves or main water valve back on.
Now you can enjoy your properly functioning faucet again.
