Your Quooker doesn't see the tap
You can try to reset the connection between the tap and the Quooker:
- Turn off the reservoir by pressing the red 'Q' on top of the reservoir.
- Remove the plug connector from the red cap at the back.
- Check if the plug connector is free from damage, grease or buildup.
- If damaged, you need a new tap.
For a PRO3 E - VCF or VCE model you also need a new cap.
For a COMBI E - CPF...CPE.. ..CCF....CCE... you also need a new cap. - If greasy or buildup, clean the plug and proceed to step 6
- Reinsert the plug connector into the cap. Use the port that is closest to the protruding part of the cap (so the right connection when viewed from the back of the reservoir). Check that the plug connector is properly seated in the cap.
- Press the red 'Q' to turn the reservoir back on.
- The light should now be on continuously, the reservoir is heating up.
- Check after one minute if hot water comes from the tap.
If the two flashes unexpectedly occur again, repeat the above steps, but in step 6 insert the plug connector into the other port. This may be sealed with a cap. If the grease or buildup returns or if the above steps don't help, you need a new tap (step 4)

Your reservoir reports a fault
Check if there is water pressure. You can do this by opening the Quooker tap and seeing if a full stream comes out. If so, you can try to reset the reservoir:
Turn off the reservoir by pressing the red 'Q' on top of the reservoir.
- Open the Quooker tap and dispense 1 liter of water. You can do this for example by filling a heat-resistant glass measuring cup. Dispensing 1 liter of water should take approximately 20 seconds.
- Press the red 'Q' to turn the reservoir back on.
- The light should now be on continuously, the reservoir is heating up.
- Check after 20 minutes if hot water comes from the tap.
If your Quooker goes into fault mode again, you need a new thermal element for the Quooker
PRO EQ - COMBI EQ needed
3x +1 flash
If you experience a 3+1 flash fault, the reservoir has a vacuum leak. The only solution is to replace the reservoir.
