Replace Quooker Flex cartridge

FLEX faucet parts

  1. Turn off the Quooker by pressing the 'Q' button on top of the reservoir. Leave the plug in the outlet.

  1. Let the hot water faucet run until the water is cold.- Close the main faucet or stop valves in the kitchen cabinet.- To drain excess water from the water line, you can open a faucet elsewhere.

  1. Turn the lever forward and loosen the screw in the lever with an Allen key one or two turns. Do not remove the screw completely. Feel if the lever comes loose and then remove the lever.

  1. Turn the decorative cap counterclockwise.
If the cap is stuck, gently tap the decorative cap a few times with a hammer so that the limescale breaks loose.

  1. Loosen the cartridge nut with an adjustable wrench or large open-end wrench.

  1. Remove the cartridge from the faucet body. Be careful that the rubber from the old cartridge does not remain.

  1. Place the new cartridge in the faucet body and tighten the cartridge nut with the adjustable wrench or open-end wrench hand-tight.

  1. First check the mobility of the cartridge. Place the lever back on the cartridge and check if the lever moves smoothly. Adjust the nut looser or tighter if necessary.

  1. Remove the lever again and now screw the decorative cap back onto the faucet.

  1. Place the lever back on the cartridge and tighten the screw in the lever with the Allen key.- Turn the main faucet or the stop valves in the kitchen cabinet back open.

  1. Turn on the Quooker by pressing the 'Q' button on top of the reservoir.- The Quooker will reach temperature after approximately 15 minutes.
