Wesco pedal doesn't fit your trash can right away?
It may seem like the pedal doesn't fit properly, but often it's just a matter of a little more force (and patience).
Use both hands to press the pedal evenly onto the bracket and wiggle it gently back and forth while pressing if needed. It's important that the screw holes are exactly opposite each other. If that's correct, you're good! The pedal doesn't slide completely over the bracket to fit properly (also see the photo for clarification).
