Alpha ALP3 Turbo Basket Plug

This original Alpha ALP3 Turbo basket plug fits various Caressi sinks. The Alpha ALP3 basket plug acts as a sieve, keeping food scraps out of your drain. Press the plug down to fully close off the drain of your Alpha & JOB sink, so you can use the sink for handwashing dishes since it also works as a stopper.
The Alpha ALP3 basket plug is made of stainless steel, so it won't rust. The basket is round with a matte stainless steel finish.
The basket plug comes complete with a steel pin, sealing rubber, and plastic ring. This basket plug has a black rubber ring around a steel ring.

Features:

This plug has a diameter of 85mm. If you have an ALPHA or JOB sink and the diameter matches, this is the plug you need.
You'll receive the new version. Photo 1 shows the old type for reference, to help you find the right plug.
The plastic ring of the old plug was fitted around a black plastic ring.
The plastic ring had a recessed inner section of about 5mm, and the rubber ring sat around the plastic ring. This rubber ring wasn't quite flush with the plastic ring but sat about 2mm deeper. (see photo 3)

Please note: Basket plugs cannot be returned

Many basket plugs look alike, but every brand and model number has different dimensions. Since many customers end up guessing, which causes unnecessary costs for us and for the customer, basket plugs can't be returned - even if the plug is still in its packaging. So make sure you order the correct model number. What can you do to be sure you're ordering the right basket plug?

Maintaining your Alpha ALP3 basket plug

You can clean the Alpha ALP3 sink plug by putting it in the dishwasher, removing all dirt from the basket sieve. For stubborn tea stains, you can use a special stainless steel cleaner, or non-aggressive cleaning agents, dish soap, and all-purpose cleaner work just as well. Use a scouring pad for this (not a metal scourer!). This lets you clean the plug thoroughly and remove grease and baked-on residue. Finish up with a microfiber cloth to give the basket a nice shine. If the rubber on your Alpha ALP3 sink plug is damaged, you'll need to order a new basket plug, since no replacement rubbers are sold separately.
