Franke Lira 008445 Basket Plug
This genuine Lira Italy 008445 Franke basket plug fits various Franke sinks. The Franke Lira basket plug is also known as a stopper or strainer: as a strainer it stops food scraps from ending up in the sink, and as a stopper you push the plug down to fully seal the drain of your Franke sink. This makes it easy to use your sink for handwashing dishes.
The Franke Lira 008445 basket plug is made of chrome-plated brass, so it won't rust. The basket is round and chrome-coloured. You'll receive the basket plug complete with steel pin, sealing rubber and plastic ring. This basket plug comes with a black rubber ring around a steel ring. If the basket screw sinks down during installation, you'll need a new basket screw. In that case, the old screw is worn out too much, so the ball no longer provides any resistance.
