About the data processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where we (have it) stored, which security techniques we use and who can view the data.

Webshop software – CCVshop

Our webshop is developed with software from CCVshop. Personal data that you provide to us for the purpose of our services is shared with this party. CCVshop has access to your data in order to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose.

Based on the agreement we have concluded with them, CCVshop is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include, among other things, the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy.

CCVshop reserves the right to share collected data within its own corporate group in order to further improve its services.

E‑mail and mailing lists

We only send you our newsletter if you explicitly subscribe to it. You can find the subscription option at the bottom of the page. In every newsletter we offer you the option to unsubscribe.

You may also receive e‑mails from us without having given separate consent. These are, for example, e‑mails:

  • with a review request after you have placed an order;
  • with an order confirmation;
  • to keep you informed about the status of your order.

Depending on the product you ordered, you may receive an e‑mail after your purchase with products that match the product you bought.

If you no longer wish to receive these recommendation e‑mails or review requests, you can unsubscribe via the link in the respective e‑mail or contact our customer service.

You can also receive an e‑mail from the shipping company containing the tracking information of your shipment.

MultiSafepay reserves the right to use your data in order to further improve its services and, in that context, to share (anonymised) data with third parties. All guarantees mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data equally apply to those parts of MultiSafepay’s services for which they engage third parties.

MultiSafepay does not store your data longer than is legally permitted.

We collect reviews via the platform of Kiyoh.

If you leave a review via Kiyoh, you are required to provide your name, place of residence and e‑mail address. Kiyoh shares this data with us so that we can link the review to your order. Kiyoh also publishes your name and place of residence on its own website.

In some cases, Kiyoh may contact you to ask for clarification of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and e‑mail address with Kiyoh. They use this data solely for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review.

Kiyoh has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Kiyoh reserves the right to engage third parties for the purpose of delivering its services; we have given Kiyoh permission for this. All guarantees mentioned above regarding the protection of your personal data equally apply to those parts of Kiyoh’s services for which they engage third parties.

Kiyoh stores your personal data as long as you keep the review published on the platform. Kiyoh has appointed a Data Protection Officer; you can find the contact details of this officer on the Kiyoh website.

We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data – otherwise than at your request – to contact you at a later time, we will explicitly ask you for your consent.

Data that are automatically collected via our website are processed with the aim of further improving our services. These data (for example your IP address, web browser and operating system) are not personal data in themselves.

Cooperation in fiscal and criminal law investigations

In some cases, Vervangingsmarkt BV may be required by law to share your data in connection with a fiscal or criminal investigation by public authorities. In such a case, we are obliged to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities the law offers us.

Retention periods

We retain your data as long as you are our customer. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also treat this as a request to be forgotten.

This also means that we do not store your data for longer than two years from the last contact moment or transaction, unless there is a legal justification for a longer period.

Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must keep invoices containing your (personal) data. We will therefore retain this data for as long as the applicable statutory period lasts. However, employees no longer have access to your customer profile and the documents we have created in the course of carrying out your assignment.

Your rights

Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data that are processed by or on behalf of us. Below we explain which rights these are and how you can exercise these rights.

To prevent misuse, we will in principle only send copies and transcripts of your data to the e‑mail address already known to us. If you wish to receive the data at another e‑mail address or by post, we may ask you to identify yourself.

We keep a record of processed requests. In the case of a request to be forgotten, we store anonymised data. All copies and transcripts of data are provided to you in a machine‑readable format that we use within our systems.

You always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you suspect that we are using your personal data in an incorrect way.

Right of access

You always have the right to access the data that we (have) process(ed) and that relate to you personally or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to that effect to our privacy contact person.

You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or transcripts of all data about you that we have processed, or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf, to your known e‑mail address.

In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue providing services to you in such a case, because the secure linking of data files can then no longer be guaranteed.
