Yes, you can. You can use the old cap to convert your mixer valve to COMBI+, or purchase the matching conversion kit. The cap for COMBI+ is brass with a red sticker featuring a plus sign, so you can easily recognise it.

When replacing it, make sure the pipe in front of the valve, between the tank and the mixer valve, is free of limescale. This prevents scale build-up that could damage the new mixer valve over time. Also use 1 fibre ring when fitting it to the inlet combination.

No, the old mixer valve is no longer available. This old model was brass-coloured and had no knob. That's why we only supply the updated type of Quooker mixer valve, which you can easily fit as a replacement.

If you want to connect the mixer valve as COMBI+ on the hot water line, you'll need conversion kit 31.093.00. This kit lets you connect the valve correctly for use with hot water instead of just boiling water.
