Replace Quooker Fusion cartridge

Service set
  1. Step 1
    Turn off the Quooker by pressing the 'Q' button on top of the reservoir. Leave the plug in the outlet.
  2. Step 2
    Let the boiling water tap run until the water is cold.- Turn off the main tap or stop taps in the kitchen cabinet.- To drain excess water from the water line, it is possible to open a tap in other places.
  3. Step 3
    Disconnect the hot and cold water hose and remove all gaskets and/or hose strainers.
  4. Step 4
    Disconnect the boiling water hose from the reservoir and pull the plug from the red cap.
  5. Step 5
    Remove the gasket from the boiling water hose.
  6. Step 6
    Loosen the compression nut with the supplied pipe wrench.
  7. Remove the tap from the tap hole.
  8. Unscrew the cold and hot water hose from the tap. Loosen the round nut with the supplied pipe wrench and remove the black centering ring from the tap.
  9. Step 9
    Remove the tap cover and use a water pump plier to unscrew the lever (replacement part) from the tap by turning counterclockwise. If the screw is stuck, loosen it with the supplied allen key.
    Pull the LED cable out of the groove.
  10. Step 10
    Use the other allen key to loosen the two brass bush nuts and remove the top of the tap by gently pulling on the spout. Attention! The boiling water hose needs some help, it must be carefully pulled out. Also, the dowels in the lower block must remain in place.
  11. Step 11
    Use the supplied Torx key to loosen the two screws next to the cartridge. Remove the cartridge from the tap body. Make sure the rubber from the old cartridge does not remain.
  12. Step 12
    Place the new cartridge with the bracket and comb in the tap body. Apply a drop of the supplied adhesive to the threads of the Torx screws. Tighten these with the Torx key. (you can optionally place the bellows around the mechanism already)
    Pull the rubber bellows over the top of the cartridge. Make sure the bellows are properly in place. Place the lever connector on the cartridge.
  13. Step 13
    Replace the O-ring on the top of the tap body and check that the two dowels are present. Slide the top of the tap back onto the tap body. Apply a drop of adhesive to the end of the threads and tighten the bush nuts well.
  14. Step 14
    Slide the cover with the logo upright back around the tap body. Attention! There is a recess in the cover. This fits over the lug in the tap body. Press the cover firmly until it clicks into place. Slide the black centering ring over the boiling water hose. Tighten the round nut with the supplied pipe wrench.
  15. Step 15
    Apply two drops of adhesive to the screw and tighten it in the lever connector with the supplied allen key. Apply a drop of adhesive to the smooth part of the screw and slide the new lever onto it. (there are also versions with only threads)
  16. Step 16
    Screw the cold and hot water hose back into the tap body.
  17. Step 17
    Push the tap through the hole in the worktop and use the plastic triangle for a thin worktop. Make sure the LED cable is not pinched. Place the horseshoe-shaped clamp around the hoses. Tighten the compression nut on the threaded end; but not completely.
