The Quooker system always consists of two parts: a tap and a tank. The tap is mounted on the countertop, while the tank - in this case the Combi tank - is installed underneath. The tank holds water heated to 110 degrees. When you draw boiling water, it comes straight out of the tap the moment you need it. You can also draw cold and hot water, just like with a regular kitchen tap. Everything flows from the same spout, but is controlled with different levers. The advantage of hot water from the Quooker Combi tank is that you no longer need a separate boiler or central heating for it, since cold tap water is mixed with boiling water from the Quooker tank. Pretty handy, right?
