Stablilus 135297 700N
bloc o elevator gas spring
This gas spring is found in chairs from Piet Klerkx.
The Stabilus 135297 is a Bloc-O-Lift gas spring designed to be lockable and hold a position. If the gas spring is not locking, this is often an adjustment issue: the head (control unit, art. 112485) has been screwed too tightly onto the thread, causing the pin to remain continuously depressed and preventing the locking mechanism from engaging. There must be a small amount of play (approx. 1 mm) between the pin in the gas spring and the lever inside the head. Loosen the head slightly until this clearance is present. Check the operation of the control unit by removing it, inserting a small pin into the mounting point, and moving the lever — the pin should then move approximately 1 mm. Refer to the Stabilus installation instructions for exact adjustment details.
