A Quooker set always consists of a tap and a reservoir. The Cube is an add-on that unlocks extra features, such as sparkling water. The standard Quooker is a 3-in-1 system: your tap delivers cold, hot or boiling water. Add the Cube and your Quooker set becomes a 5-in-1 system: your tap now also delivers chilled and sparkling water!
The Cube is fitted with a CO2 cylinder, also known as a carbonator. A single Quooker CO2 cylinder produces up to 60 litres of cold sparkling water. The Quooker Cube doesn't use much energy either — with a standby consumption of just 5W, the Cube is genuinely efficient.
The system works in a simple way: when you want sparkling water from your Quooker, press and turn the knob once. A blue light ring will start flashing. Keep holding the knob, and after another turn, chilled sparkling water flows from the tap. Accidentally drawing boiling water instead isn't possible — the light ring will flash red as a warning.
